• We're lovers and worshippers of God who set our lives apart for Him.
• The Bible tells us who to be, how to live, and what to do.
• The best thing on the planet is doing the things Jesus did through the incredibly wonderful Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
• Because we like doing those things we get to see people healed, saved and delivered and see God's great kingdom push out Satan's 'already falling apart' kingdom. (And that's exciting!).
• We do it all by LIVING His Word, asking the Holy Spirit to come and be with us. And because we ask Him, the Holy Spirit actually comes and brings His Presence, His encouragement, His refreshing, His renewal, His conviction of sin & and His filling and empowering so we can do the works of Jesus Christ (again and again and again).
• Yes... we make deliberate attempts to be culturally relevant. Our message is unashamedly the historic message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our approach however is geared to reach the Baby Boomer, the Baby Busters (Generation X), and whoever is next in line. So you better be prepared! Worship is intentionally contemporary, dress is purposely casual, and ministry is designed to be non-traditional, non-hype and 'laid back'. We kinda think it's more in keeping with the 'Jesus' style of ministry which communicates authenticity.
• Oh yeah... that's what we really care about... authenticity!

Our Values...

Vision Statement
As a church, we desire to reach people and connect them in authentic community in order to mature them spiritually, equip them for Kingdom ministry, while engaging them in intimate worship as disciples of Jesus. We like to say it in 4 steps:
"Intimacy with Jesus...Passion for the Presence, Power and Gifts of the Holy Spirit...Equipping the Saints...Flung into the World".

We value the Bible
We seek to uphold the value of the Bible and its use in all that we do, applying the Biblical teaching (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We value God's Presence
We seek God's presence through His Spirit's guidance and present day power. Being Spirit led doesn't preclude reason, order and God-given authority. It does manifest in prayer and worship. Worship is a prime ingredient for our church's culture (Romans 8:4).

We value unity
We see unity in our relationship as we demonstrate humility, openness, servant leadership, team work, mercy and collaboration (John 17:20-23).

We value the Kingdom of God
We seek the Kingdom of God as demonstrated by use of spiritual gifts bringing about God's power in signs and wonders. The Kingdom of God is establishing God's rule, reign and authority on earth. We believe His kingdom comes through human hands, eyes and feet: empowered compassion. "Everybody gets to play!"

We value Excellence
We seek excellence in our expressions of ministry with effectiveness, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and life-long learning (Proverbs 22:29)

Our Priorities...

Worshipping God
The highest priority of God's people is to worship Him, that is, to give God the worth that He ought to have in our lives. Worship is an expression of our love for God.

Connecting with the Community
Relationship with God draws us into relationship with each other. Jesus modeled a new kind of community based on love, forgiveness and acceptance. In the Vineyard we anticipate walking the journey together in supportive, encouraging, healthy relationships.

Equipping for Ministry
Our hope is that each person in the Vineyard would be trained and equipped to do the works that Jesus did. Our training utilizes the "show and tell" model and "on the job training," in addition to classroom instruction

Discipling
Our lives are to be constantly conformed to Jesus. We are to grow up, mature, be discipled, know Him, live a lifestyle consistent with His word. We, therefore, study His word to grow to be like Him.

Reaching the World
We desire to renew, refresh and empower the church by releasing them into ministry. Each person (should they choose) will have the opportunity to serve in many different capacities...not only around the world,but in the various venues we have developed right here in the community of Vero Beach.
